Title: iPads and the Power of Apps
Population: The workshop will be designed for teachers that need professional development and exposure to what iPads can do in the classroom.
Outcomes: Help teachers become comfortable, confident and educate them on the manner in which iPads can enrich the curriculum.
  • Teachers will learn strategies to help them incorporate iPads in the teaching and learning process.
  • Teachers will collaborate with one another to share strategies for iPad inclusion into the classroom.

Gap: I believe some of the participants own iPads but do not know the power of Apple’s apps. There are many people that believe iPads are only for personal entertainment outside of the classroom.
